For
the last 30 years, Queen of the Valley Hospital Foundation has
supported Queen of the Valley Hospital of Napa, California. Queen
of the Valley Hospital is a member of the St. Joseph Health System, a
ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, California. The
166-bed hospital serves the residents of Napa County, California.
The support of donors sustains Queen of the Valley Hospital as a state
of the art healthcare institution and as a place of hope and progress.
SPECIALIZATION:
Queen of the Valley Hospital offers sophisticated diagnostic and
therapeutic care in cardiology, cancer care, maternal/child health,
trauma, orthopedic medicine, and acute rehabilitation. FUTURE
GOALS: The mission of the Queen of the Valley Hospital offers
sophisticated diagnostic care to residents of Napa County,
California. The Foundation is currently raising funds to
renovate the Maternity Center and address challenges facing Queen of the
Valley Hospital because of the California Seismic Reform Act. ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Queen of the Valley Hospital offers the services of a metropolitan
hospital to those who inhabit the serenity of the Napa Valley. The
hospital offers open-heart surgery as well as non-invasive
procedures. The hospital also offers state of the art cancer
treatment through its Community Cancer Center. Additionally, the
hospital has a Level Two Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery and a
comprehensive Acute Rehabilitation unit.
GIVING
OPPORTUNITIES: Gifts have played an essential role in the
hospital's mission for over forty years. The foundation provides
that support by receiving the contributions of individuals, foundations
and businesses. Donors can give to acquire state of the art
technology, construct and renovate facilities and build endowment.
